FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - The Australian dollar came off
mid-day lows against the yen, as US equities staged a late-session
rally easing downward pressure by the safe-haven prone yen. The
pair had difficulties surpassing the 75.00 barrier over New York,
however ahead of the Asian Pacific opening it currently stages a
modest rally above that level.
At time of writing, the AUD/JPY quotes at 75.06 where it looks for
consolidation ahead of Australia's Conference Board leading index
to be released within the hour. With bullish tendencies, immediate
resistance is listed at 75.07 and later 75.26. To the downside,
support is placed at 74.89 and 74.77.
