The most influential minds in finance will gather November 2-4 in Naples, Fla. for the second annual Global Financial Leadership Conference. As a veteran journalist who has written for Barron's,  Forbes and The Wall Street Journal - and now NASDAQ.com -  I'll be blogging from the conference to make sure NASDAQ Community members and NASDAQ.com visitors will catch the key insights that are harbingers of what's to come for the market and the economy.

Last year's conference drew the likes of Paul Volker, the stagflation-slaying Federal Reserve Chairman, and former British Prime Minister Tony Blair.

This year, we'll again hear the thoughts of Volker, currently Chairman of the White House Economic Recovery Advisory Board, Goldman Sachs' Chief Risk Officer Craig Broderick, Winton Capital Management founder David Harding, oil- and now alterative energy-baron T. Boone Pickens as well as dozens of other leading market thinkers. We'll even get competitive insights from NFL legends Mike Ditka and Dan Marino, and discover which LPGA pros' performances highlight the conference's Pro-Am Golf Tournament.

If you're not one of the 200 institutional investment leaders able to attend the conference, then NASDAQ.com's coverage is the next best thing to being there. And please post your comments and questions.
